The first step in the process is to configure the default pre-population rules. This causes data from the client folder to pre-populate into Owner fields regardless of the type of client. This allows business rules to align with specific sections of a form regardless of the actual client type.

Info

Example: The list below displays some example connections:

  • Person or Prospect client types pre-populate to Owner fields in PDF

  • Business/Entity client types pre-populate to Entity fields in PDF

  • Insured client types pre-populate to Insure fields in PDF

  • Trust client types pre-populate to Trust fields in PDF

Tip

Pros – This will eliminate issues with Entity/Trust data incorrectly populating the Owner fields on forms that do not support entity data. Data will not be wrong on forms.

Warning

Cons – For multi-use forms that use the same fields are used for Owners and Entities, no data pre-population will occur.

Compromise – The Blue Arrow dropdown allows you to manually select a client and populate form fields with two clicks.
