Installing jCore

Navigate to http://www.jaccomo.net and click on the jCore .msi button.

This will download the jCore applet.

Navigate to the file and double click on it.

Attention: Some computers display a warning message that says “Windows Protected Your PC.” Windows Security works to help protect your device by scanning for malicious or unwanted software. However, sometimes, it has trouble recognizing applications.

Conditional: Click on More Info.

Conditional: Click the Run Anyway button because in this case, the program is safe.

A: (Optional) Change the default installation folder.

Tip

Tip: If your organization did not provide you with the information in this screen, simply click Next.

Launching jCore

The installer added six shortcuts to your desktop. Depending on your environment you will use either jCore.net (A) or jCore.com (B).

Tip

Tip: We recommend deleting/recycling the remaining shortcuts to clear up space on your desktop.

Clicking on the shortcut opens the jCore login page. Enter your Login (A), Password (B), and your Company (C).

Troubleshooting

If you have any problems logging in, you can clear your cache.

Note

Attention: If clearing your cache does not work, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling jCore.

Open the Start menu.

Click on the jCore folder.

Click the Clear Cache buttonon Clear Cache.

A black box will appear on your screen and begin running the task of clearing your cache. Often it happens so fast, that you may not even notice.
