Accessing the App

Overview

The Advisor ADV app allows you to quickly upload the ADV Part 2B form into Docupacemakes it easier to add and update the Advisor ADV forms in the system. While you can add the ADV forms without the app, the app streamlines the process and allows for self-service.

Accessing the App

There are two ways to access the Advisor ADV app.

Menu Item

You can access the app through the navigation toolbar.

Quick Start Tile

If your firm has Quick Start enabled, you can click the ADV Part 2B tile. It is located under the Manage Documents section.

Available Actions

Once you are in the app, you can:

Select an advisor if one is not already selected.

Note: Advisors will have themselves selected automatically. Assistants will see all relevant advisors.


Use the Direct File Uploader to add a new version of the ADV Part 2B form.

Note

Attention: Uploading a PDF will immediately replace an existing file.


View the existing ADV Part 2B form for the selected advisor.

Note: If the form does not already exist, the system will display a placeholder document.


Click the Back button to return to Quick Start.

After Uploading

After you upload a new document, you will see a confirmation message. The image on the right (C) will change to display the new document.

When an advisor has this firm on file, they and their assistants can include this form in work items and disclosure documents.
