Introduction: This guide describes the process of storing the documents to / and retrieving from Docupace. |
Audience: PreciseFP Advisors.
Prerequisites:
PreciseFP and Docupace are already integrated.
The client is a pre-existing Docupace client.
Overview
The PreciseFP and Docupace integration allows the advisors to store standard documents according to the selected customer automatically in Docupace and retrieve them from Docupace.
Storing the data of new clients/prospects in Docupace

Log in to PreciseFP.
Click on the Accounts icon on the left side of the screen.
Select Clients or Prospects.
Select a client or prospects from the Accounts list.
Click the Profile icon on the top navigation bar of the Account Details.
The system opens the Profile section showing all details related to the chosen account including any files added previously per section related to them within the profile. [OPTIONAL] To add a document, click inside the Document field of the selected section and select your document. (For more details, see Adding and deleting documents and sections.) Click the Export icon.
The system presents options on where to export Account/Files to. Select Docupace (Client Folder) to store the data to the Client Folder/Subfolder.
The system presents the option to choose an existing record to import or to create a new record in Docupace. Select Create a new Record in Docupace and click Export. The system creates a new record in Docupace and exports the selected Account including any related files. |
Updating the data of clients/prospects in Docupace
The process for updating the data of the existing clients/prospects is the same as described above, except for the last step.
The system offers to link the account to an existing record in Docupace or to click "Unlink" and choose the new record.
