You can open the Docupace Client Folder directly from SmartOffice.

Tip

Tip: If the Client Folder does not exist for that contact in Docupace, SmartOffice automatically creates a new folder.

To access the Docupace Client Folder from SmartOffice:

In the Contact record, go to Menu (1)> Integrations (2)> Docupace Client Folder (3).

In Docupace Setup, click Login (Docupace ID and URL is provided automatically):

  • To bypass the Docupace Setup page next time you use the integration, select Skip this screen and use the above Docupace URL by default.

Info

Important: Leave this option unselected if you are entering your Docupace ID and Docupace URL for the first time. If you enter your Docupace ID or URL incorrectly, contact SmartOffice Technical Support to correct the issue. Ebix recommends selecting this option only after you successfully access Docupace from SmartOffice at least once.

  • To prevent SmartOffice from creating subfolders in the Docupace client folder (runs by default), select Do not create subfolders for Investment Accounts and Policies, and then click Login.

Tip

Tip: In case you need to enter Docupace ID and URL, contact your Broker-Dealer or Docupace. For more information, contact SmartOffice Technical Support.

From the Docupace Rep List, select the relevant Rep code, and then click OK.

You can now view Docupace Client Folder and Subfolder from SmartOffice.
