To perform Docupace and SmartOffice integration, it is required to set up user’s and data preferences for SmartOffice.

User Preferences

A user with Administrator rights has to enable the appropriate licenses for each user, who wants to use the integration. For more information, view User Accounts - User Rights.

A user can have one or both licenses, depending on the features to be accessed. These licenses are the following:

  • Docupace Client Folder. Allows a user to access the Docupace client folder directly from SmartOffice.

  • Docupace Starting Point. Allows a user to export the SmartOffice contact data to Docupace for form filling.

Data Preferences

Before using contact records in SmartOffice, which is integrated with Docupace, ensure that:

  • Contact records have the following information: First Name, Last Name, and Social Security number.

  • Business records have Business Name and Tax ID.
