Launching Starting Point

Starting Point is the Forms Filling solution offered by Docupace. The full user guide can be found here.

Docupace Starting Point displays current Work Items (WI). These WIs contain the following form bundles:

• HIPAA

• Insurance

• MHS

The following guidance will cover ways to launch Starting Point and create Work Items.

To launch Docupace Starting Point from SmartOffice for generating Work Items: Rw step Log in to SmartOffice and go to your Contact / Bussiness. Rw step To launch Docupace Starting Point, on the top navigation toolbar, click the Docupace Starting Point button (Quick Access). Tip Tip: If the Docupace Starting Point button is absent on the top navigation toolbar, you can find it in Menu > Integrations and then drag and drop it up. Quick Launch for Docupace Starting Point Rw step If the Docupace Setup page appears, enter the requested information, and then click Continue. Tip Tip: To bypass the Docupace Setup page next time you use the integration, select Skip this screen and use the above Docupace URL by default. Providing information for Docupace Setup Rw step You are now launching the Starting Point Forms Wizard. From Rep Code, select the relevant rep. Providing Rep Code for Client Rw step Fill out a short questionnaire. The questionnaire leads you to the correct forms for the Account that you want to open for your Client. Filling out questionnaire Rw step Select a State or set it as not required via No State Required. Selecting State Rw step Select a Product Type: Advisory, Informal Inquiry, or Insurance - Variable Annuity. For more information, view Starting Point Overview. Selecting Product Type Rw step Select a Registration Type. Selecting Registration Type Rw step Review a summary before creating a WI and then click Create Work Item. The Contact data is now exported from SmartOffice into the Docupace form. Creating Work Item Rw step Proceed on your Docupace workflow by providing all the requested information in the form.
