Launching Starting Point

Docupace Starting Point displays current Work Items (WI). These WIs Work Items contain the following form bundles: HIPAA

, Insurance

, and MHS bundles.

The following guidance will cover ways provides information on how to launch Docupace Starting Point and create for creating Work Items (WI).

To launch Docupace Starting Point from SmartOffice for generating Work Items:

Log in to SmartOffice and go to your Contact / Bussiness.

To launch Docupace Starting Point, on the top navigation toolbar, click the Docupace Starting Point button (Quick Access (quick-access button).

Tip

Tip: If the Docupace Starting Point quick-access button is absent on the top navigation toolbar, you can find it in Menu > Integrations and then drag and drop it up .onto the toolbar

Tip: To bypass the Docupace Setup page next time you use the integration, select Skip this screen and use the above Docupace URL by default

perform the following actions:

  1. Enter Docupace user ID and Docupace Uniform Resource Locator (URL), which is used to access your documents in the Docupace URL field.

  2. (Optional) Select the Skip this screen and use the above Docupace URL by default option to skip this window in the future.

  3. Click Continue to open the Docupace Starting Point that corresponds with the specified SmartOffice contact. Once you are logged in, you can continue the workflow from the Docupace system.

If In the Docupace Setup page Setup window appears, enter the requested information, and then click Continue.

Tip

Tips:

  • Skipping the Docupace Setup window is recommended after the first successful login attempt.

  • If you need to get a Docupace ID and URL, contact your Broker-Dealer. You can also contact SmartOffice Technical Support.

Note: SmartOffice remains open while you work in Docupace.

Review a the Contact summary before creating a WI Work Item and then click Create Work Item.

The Contact data is now exported from SmartOffice into the Docupace form.
