Launching Starting Point

Starting Point is the Forms Filling solution offered by Docupace. The full user guide can be found here.to create Work Items. Starting Point allows you to quickly gather the forms you need for a transaction. For more information, view Starting Point User Guide.

Launching Docupace Starting Point

Docupace Starting Point displays current Work Items (WI). These WIs Work Items contain the following form bundles: HIPAA

, Insurance

, and MHS

bundles. The following guidance will cover ways provides information on how to launch Docupace Starting Point and create for creating Work Items (WI).

To launch Docupace Starting Point from SmartOffice for generating Work Items:

Log in to SmartOffice and go to your Contact / Bussiness Business.

To launch Docupace Starting Point, on the top navigation toolbar, click the Docupace Starting Point button (Quick Access (quick-access button).

Tip: If the Docupace Starting Point quick-access button is

absent on

If In the Docupace Setup page appears, enter the requested information, and then click Continue.

Tip

Tip: To bypass the Docupace Setup page next time you use the integration, select Skip this screen and use the above Docupace URL by default.

Providing information for Docupace SetupImage Removed

Setup window appears, perform the following actions:

  1. Enter Docupace user ID and Docupace (URL) into the Docupace URL field.

  2. (Optional) Select the Skip this screen and use the above Docupace URL by default checkbox to bypass this window in the future.

  3. Click Continue to launch Docupace Starting Point. The Client for the transaction is the specified SmartOffice Contact. Once you are logged in, you can continue the workflow from the Docupace system.

Note: SmartOffice remains open while you work in Docupace.

Fill out a short questionnaire. The questionnaire leads you to the correct forms for the Account that you want to open for your Clientthe Docupace Starting Point wizard: select the Request group (1) and Vendor (2).

Tip: Based on your selections, the system will compile forms that you need to complete the transaction.
