Installing jCore

Navigate to https://test.jaccomo.net/ and click the jCore .msi button. This will download the jCore applet.

Navigate to the file and double click on it.

Conditional: Click on More Info, then click Run Anyway.

Note

Attention: If you see this message, it means Windows was unable to recognize the application. The jCore applet is safe to run.

Click Next.

A: (Optional) Change the default installation folder.

B: Click Next to continue.

A: (Optional) Fill out the SSO fields.

B: Click Next.

Tip

Tip: If your organization did not provide you with information for this screen, simply click Next.

Click Install. The Setup Wizard installs the app.

Click Finish to exit the Wizard.

Launching jCore

The installer adds six shortcuts to your desktop. Depending on your environment you will use either jCore.net (A) or jCore.com (B).

Tip

Tip: Delete/recycle the remaining shortcuts to clear up space on your desktop.

Clicking on the shortcut opens the jCore login page. Enter your Login (A), Password (B), and your Company (C).

Troubleshooting

If you have any problems logging in, you can clear your cache.

Tip

Tip: If clearing your cache does not work, try uninstalling and reinstalling jCore.

Open the Start menu.

Click on the jCore folder.

Click on Clear Cache.

Note: Your computer will open a command window and begin running the task of clearing your cache. Typically, this only takes a second or two. Then, It closes itself when the task is finished.
