Generate Change Reports

Change:  Added a new feature to create a list of changes in pdf format.

Benefit: This feature allows users to generate a list of the changes made during a specific deployment session for auditing and tracking purposes.

Description: The Report button is displayed on the comparison results screen. Clicking this button generates a summary in PDF format. The report identifies:

  • The sites being compared

  • The number of changes of each type

  • List of affected domains

  • List of affected records

  • List of fields

Change:  Added a new feature to specify which domains to compare, and which to exclude from the comparison (and deployment).

Benefit: This feature allows users to make comparisons faster by narrowing the focus to specific domains, thus avoiding the full comparison process.

Description: Users can select specific domains to include in the comparison. Alternatively, users can exclude certain domains instead.

One-Click Deployments

Change:  Added the ability to deploy sites

Benefit: The ability to view recent changes, compare sites, and then deploy changes automatically makes the deployment process much easier than before.

Description: After configuring the settings, users can deploy the site with just one click. After the deployment, the system displays a summary and a detailed list of the changes made in each selected domain. In addition, these deployments are reversible.

eTrade Integration

New Integration

Change: Established a new integration between Docupace and eTrade.

Benefit: Users can open accounts at eTrade using different login credentials based on Product Type.

Description: Some users may need to log in as different firms in order to open accounts via eTrade. This feature associates specific product types with different eTrade login information. Additionally, there are new application preferences implemented within eTrade for storing: user’s ID, Password, URL, and API key.

Sending Beneficiary Data to Account

Change: Implemented a feature for sending the beneficiary data from Docupace to available accounts. Additionally, users can now authenticate to eTrade using individual userID and Password according to a Product Type.

Benefit: This feature makes it easy to associate beneficiaries with Accounts created using the eTrade Registration Type.

Description: A flow for sending the beneficiary data is the following:

  1. Docupace sends data to eTrade.

  2. The eTrade account opens automatically through API.

  3. Docupace receives back the account number from eTrade and updates the Client Subfolder.

  4. If the Registration Type has beneficiaries, Docupace sends the beneficiary information through API to eTrade and update the beneficiary information based on the opened account.

Tracker BI Mobile App

Change:  Added a mobile app that launches into the Tracker BI widget.

Benefit: This feature allows users to open Tracker BI on the go.

Description: The mobile app functions like the Tracker BI web browser widget, but has a slightly different interface for optimization

X-Ray Widget

Change:  Created a new widget called “X-Ray” that displays a work item’s internal details.

Benefit: This widget helps administrators check test case results, provide support, and troubleshoot problems.

Description: X-Ray Widget provides:

  • to view Work Item internal details on one page

  • to view some other data related to the Work Item

  • logs showing the progress of the Work Item

  • logs showing the API calls related to the Work Item.

Pershing New Account Opening Widget

Change:  Created a custom new account creation process in Docupace Start for Pershing.

Benefit: The new account creation process is automated, and thus takes less time.

Description: Appropriate registration types and required forms are associated with this wizard. The form validates information that Pershing requires to complete the account opening process. After completing the new account opening form for Pershing, the work item follows the same workflow path as other work items related to client activity.

SIGNiX Enhancements

Add Attachments

Change:  Allows clients to add attachments during the esign process.

Benefit: Clients and Investors can add relevant documents such as birth certificates or drivers licenses (etc.)

Description: The esigning ceremony proceeds as normal until the client finishes signing all the fields on the document. Before being able to proceed and submit the document, the client is asked to upload any desired attachments or to skip and continue with the esigning ceremony.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Create SSO-Only Users

Reference #: Winter_2020_DA1

Change:  Added a new user attribute (SSO-only user) to the Security Realm.

Benefit: This attribute allows users to automatically create SSO-only users in Docupace.

Description:  Added the new attribute in the Security Realm for a user: SSO only user. If the “SSO Only user” attribute is set to Yes, that user is forbidden from logging in via a username/password. The system displays error messages if trying to change or reset the password for "SSO only user”.

Change:  Created a new application preference that disables a specific user’s or role’s ability to change their password via the “Forgot Password” link.

Benefit: This application preference prevents users from changing their passwords without administrator approval.

Description: Set the application preference "security.authentication.changePasswordAllowed" to “No” if you want to disable the ability to change the password. Use domain user settings to define this property for some roles or some users. The following error message is displayed if an unauthorized user attempts to change their password. "You do not have permission to change your password. Please contact your administrator."

Change:  Change Password option is not displayed for SSO only users.

Benefit: This feature prevents SSO only users from changing their passwords without administrator approval.

Description:  Technically SSO users have an account in Docupace for which they don't know the password. However, if they are able to reset the password, then they can log in directly to Docupace. This means that even if their account is disabled in that 3rd party Identity Provider, they will still be able to login directly in Docupace. To prevent this, the password option is not displayed for them.

Change: Established integration between Docupace and AdvicePay.

Benefit: AdvicePay is a billing and payment solution for financial professionals. The integration makes it easy to import relevant information.

AnnuityNet Wizard

Reset Button

Reference #: Winter_2020_ INT2

Change:  Added a button that allows users to reset AnnuityNet transactions.

Benefit: This allows users to make changes to a submitted transaction without having to create a whole new work item.

Description: Once AnnuityNet sends the documents to Docupace, the documents move into the waiting for eSignature step and are locked. Clicking the Reset button voids the completed AnnuityNet forms and the Transaction detail report. The Reset button then becomes the Launch AnnuityNet button. Previous selections will still be available, so users can update the desired information without having to start from the beginning.

New Integration

Change: Established integration between Docupace and Assetmark.

Benefit: With help of the integration, documents are automatically imported from Assetmark and stored in Docupace for further processing.

Description:

The Assetmark integration automates the delivery of documents from Assetmark to Docupace, and performs the following tasks:

  1. A daily file of documents generated in Assetmark is sent to Docupace.

  2. Docupace imports the Assetmark documents to the appropriate firm’s site.

  3. Docupace will attempt to index the Assetmark documents into the correct Client Folder.

  4. If Docupace cannot index Assetmark documents, these documents are put into a Mailroom > Unindexed queue. Then, the Back-office specialists need to index those documents manually.

AnnuityNet Wizard

Customize Navigation Upon Saving

Reference #: Winter_2020_INT4

Change:  The new application preference determines whether users return to the Dashboard or to the Work Item Details page.

Benefit: This allows firms to customize what happens after leaving AnnuityNet based on their specific needs.

Description: The application preference has two settings. Yes causes the system to return users to the Dashboard. No causes the system to return users to the corresponding Work Item Details page. The changes can be set per-user or per data role.

Launch AnnuityNet Button

Change:  AnnutiyNet Wizard is launched via a button on the Work Item Details screen instead of automatically after WI creation.

Benefit: This allows users to complete BD forms prior to launching the AnnuityNet wizard.

Description: After an eligible work item is created in Starting Point, the system opens the Work Item Details screen. This button is visible if the work item is AnnuityNet eligible and has a specific AnnuityNet status. When users save and return to the Wizard later, the button text changes to “Relaunch AnnuityNet.”

Sending Emails to eSign Recipients

Reference #: Winter_2020_INT6

Change: Fixed a bug that caused SIGNiX to send all eSign emails to a single recipient instead of each individual recipient.

Benefit: SIGNiX now correctly sends emails to each individual eSign recipient: Email, First Name, Last Name. If you set the boolean value to “Yes” on the application preference esign.sendOnlyUniqueRecipients, emails will be sent to unique eSign Recipients.

Cascading Selection Field Type

Reference #: Winter_2020_WID1

Change:  Added the Cascading selection field type. Multiple fields of this type can be added to the wizard to allow users to select values based on the Forms Matrix domain. 

Benefit: This feature automatically adds fields associated with a selected Forms Matrix field, making the job easier for the user.

Description: Multiple Cascading selection fields can be added to the wizard to allow users to select values based on the Forms Matrix domain. The Docupace Start field displays as either single selection or multi-selection depending on the field source. When a value in one of the fields is selected, the rest of the fields are filtered accordingly.

Help for Developers

Change:  Added ability to get key attributes of the work item (ID, a node opened from, etc.) and corresponding tasks for all components of DSP. 

Benefit: With this feature implemented, a developer can get data that allows them to implement different DSP features such as transitions of the work items from DSP.

Description: When DSP creates a new Work Item or loads an existing Work Item, it populates the Work Item ID in $scope.wizardState.$workItem.id, and Work Item Tasks in $scope.wizardState.$workItem.tasks[]. As a result, there are now new options for creating a new work item or updating an existing one. It is also now possible to load all tasks of the current work item.

New Configuration Parameter addForms

Change:  Added configuration parameter addForms on the createWorkItem page in Docupace Start. 

Benefit: The addForms parameter allows DS designers to choose if the Work Item will be created with or without forms.

Description: The new parameter adds control when creating a work item. The parameter addRequiredForms is sent to the Core when this is active and tells the system that it should add forms to work items created using the widget.

Change:  Users can now specify enable the conditions for repeatable field-group buttons.

Benefit: This feature allows users to specify different conditions for Add/Remove buttons that are displayed for repeatable groups.

Description: This release added a new setting called Allow adding/removing items (expression) for Field Group.
This setting is available when Allow adding/removing items is enabled. If an expression evaluates to true, it will be possible to add and remove items (if not limited by Minimum/Maximum repetitions).

New Site Function: Auto-Trim

Change: Implemented an application preference that adds a new boolean property (Trim value) for text fields within AOS widget.

Benefit: Auto-trimming allows users to have the AOS widget fields filled automatically based on the data input.

Description: Trim values can be overwritten by specific field settings. If in Wizard Config, a boolean property is set to “Yers,” auto-trim of all text fields within AOS widget is activated.

eSubmit Concierge Wizard

Added a Memo/Instruction field to the eSubmit Concierge widget

Change:  Added a free-form text box called "Instructions for Back Office" to the interface of the eSubmit (Concierge) widget.

Benefit: Allows the submitter to include instructions or notes for the back office relating to the submission.

Description: Added the eSubmit Transaction Information form in pdf format to the eSubmit Transaction Information form on the Forms Domain, and new Forms M-to-M Mapping. The content on this memo field must be provided to the Back Office that receives the submission.

PO Box Address Line 1

Change:  The fixes enable firms to allow users to enter PO Boxes in Address Line 1.

Benefit: This application preference allows users to use the PO box as a mailing address.

Description: When widget.trackerbi.advisor.nopobox.disable is set to YES, PO Box addresses are allowed. When the application preference is set to NO, an error message appears and PO Boxes are not allowed.

US Zip Code Validation

Change:  Previously, the zip code field allowed US zip codes to have fewer than 5 or more than 10 characters. Now, a validation appears that explains the code has an invalid format.

Benefit: This validation ensures information is entered correctly into the system.

Description: When the country is set to US, the zip code field now checks if the entry contains 5-10 characters. If this is not true, then the widget displays an error message and will not allow the user to proceed until they format the field correctly.

Miscellaneous Fixes

Change:  The following list identifies miscellaneous Tracker BI fixes.

  1. Previously, the system considered a blank space as a character, allowing users to bypass validations on the note screen. Now, users must enter at least one alpha-numeric character (A-Z, 0-9)

  2. Corrected misspelling of “Supplied” in the Work Item Notes

  3. Removed comma between client first and last name in the WI Notes

Change: The document viewer remains visible while working on the WI Details screen.

Benefit: Users can open the work item details without losing a visual of the document(s) in the work item. It also allows users to quickly move between Documents while on the Details screen.

Description: Details section is now available in a work item. The “Previous” and “Next” buttons now show up when a work item has multiple documents. There were added the following application preferences:

  1. documents.viewer.wiDetails.enabled

  2. documents.viewer.navigationButtons.enabled
