Introduction

In some cases, you may realize that separately scanned documents (and therefore work items) should be merged together in a single work item. 

The example below shows a process where a document was scanned into the Mailroom and needs to be processed with an active work item.

Write down two work item IDs:

  1. The one you want to merge

  2. The one you want to merge into

Example

Mailroom Work Item 2208 is to be merged into Pending Advisor Review Work Item 2191

Click on the work item you plan to Merge or click the pencil icon to view the Work Item Details page.

In the Merge into Request # field type in the second work item number you noted, then click Save and Close.

Click the Merge button to complete the task.

Note

The first work item has now been merged into the 2nd work item.
