Monitor is the administrative dashboard for ALL work item activity that you have access to across the whole system. Unlike the Dashboard which provides a personal view of your work items (i.e. only the work items assigned to you for resolution), Monitor displays all the work items in the system. It provides an easy way for the management to:
Observe the work in progress
Look out for items that have been “aging too long”.
View the users who are working on the work items
Use the search fields on the left side of the page to search for specific tasks. The search results are displayed on the right side of the page.
