To approve a batch for shredding:

Go to Shredding Batches domain.

Locate the batch you wish to shred.

Click Contents to view all the documents in that shredding batch.

Click Approve and Save.

At this point, a user will be able to permanently shred the document(s) in that batch.

Note: The user does not actually initiate the shredding, they approve the batch and 24 hours later, the system shreds the documents.

Warning! Once documents are shredded they cannot be recovered.
