Pool

A holding place for unassigned Work Items. A Work Item joins a pool of similar Work Items after stopping at a Queue. The system associates each pool with a specific site role. This prevents unauthorized users from accessing Work Items and disrupting the workflow. Users can pull items from these role-specific pools to begin working on them by clicking Get From Pool. Work Items can be sorted within the pool in several ways: by priority, in the order of creation, in the order that they reached the specific Queue, or by SLA date.
