Building a Docupace Start Wizard

This section describes tasks for building wizard pages and their content with the Docupace Start configuration tool. You can access it by going through the menu Administration > Single Pane of Glass tile > Widgets tile, opening the Widget and then clicking on the Widget configuration cogwheel icon in the Widget Configuration panel. Before starting the building process, you should have noted down a loose outline of your design.  For any step of the wizard there are two way to design it: create one large page and display parts of it to the user based on his previous answers (visibility conditions) or make several small separate pages that can be skipped over if not needed.  Creating several smaller pages is usually easier to configure because there are fewer visibility conditions, but this may create the need for more transition actions. Transition actions are easier to manage if the pages follow each other in sequential order.

Navigation within the wizard can be set up in several ways:

Any wizard will need at least one Action (Transition Action) Button, to allow the end-user to submit the filled-out information. However, there are many ways to use Action buttons in a wizard.
