Replacing Documents

Replacing Documents

Click on Images to Expand Them

There are two ways that you can replace documents in Docupace. You can undo this change at any time by changing the active document on the details page.

Barcodes

A document with a barcode that is already in the system automatically replaces the document it matches.

Example: If a client wet signs a form that gets uploaded in with a batch of documents, it will skip the mailroom. Instead, Docupace will send it to the correct work item.

Drag and Drop

You can upload documents without barcodes by using the upload field on the Document Details page. The file type does not need to match the original version.

Example: You can replace the automatic Docupace audit trail PDF with the document provided by SIGNiX, even if it is an XML file.

1

Open the work item you would like to change.

2

Hover your mouse over the document you want to replace.

3

Click the pencil icon to open the document details window.

4

Scroll down until you see a field labeled upload or drag and drop.

5

Drag and drop the updated version into the field. You can also use the browse feature to locate a file on your device.

6

Open the work item you would like to change.

7

Hover your mouse over the document you want to remove.

8

Click the trash can icon to delete the document.

Remove Attached Documents

You can remove documents attached to work items.

1

Open the work item you would like to change.

2

Hover your mouse over the document you want to remove.

3

Click the trash can icon to delete the document.
