Overview of Barcode Coversheet Functionality
The main purpose of the Barcode Coversheet functionality is to index documents without any manual involvement.
Barcode Coversheet functionality allows you to easily generate Barcode Coversheets for printing:

Application Preferences for a Barcode Coversheet
Barcode Coversheets can be customized using the following Application Preferences:
Application Preference | Description |
Add Site Code Barcode to Barcode Coversheet | This adds a Site Code Barcode to a Barcode Coversheet for quick navigation to a site. |
Always generate PDF-based Barcode Coversheet | If this application preference is set to “Yes,” then it always generates a PDF barcode coversheet. If this application preference is set to “No,” then it works as before and the generation of the barcode coversheet depends on the configuration of “web.barcode.version.use.new” and/or “web.barcode.version.use.new.general.” |
Captions For Barcode Coversheet | This adds captions for a Barcode Coversheet, such as “domainId1:caption1,domainId2:caption2,” or others. Tip: New Document Version indexes a new version of the current document. |
Starting Point: Show Barcode Menu | This helps to easily navigate to the Barcode menu. |
Use combine-images API when Barcode is pressed on 110 domain for “True,” or coversheet.jsp for “False” | This provides the ability to stitch multiple images together side-by-side. |
Use new Barcode version on all buttons (except Client Folder > Retrieve) | Facilitates navigation to a new Barcode version within applications (except Client Folder > Retrieve). |
