This guide explains how to add your DocuSign credentials to Docupace. You will need to configure the App Password for SOAP. Once you complete this task, signees will see your name in the subject line when DocuSign sends notification emails.
What is an “App Password?”
An App Password is a second password to your DocuSign account that is used exclusively for integrations with other sites. It is different from the DocuSign portal password that you use to log into the DocuSign website. Currently, applications like Docupace can integrate with your DocuSign account by using your DocuSign Username (email) and your DocuSign portal password. Or, by using only your DocuSign Username without a password by using an elevated admin account. This is referred to as the “Send on Behalf of” (SOBO) configuration. DocuSign is retiring and replacing both these methods with the App Password.
Note: A person cannot log into the DocuSign web portal using an App Password. This password can only be used by integrated systems.
