There are several ways to add a new client into Docupace.


There are a couple of ways to add a client into Docupace that isn't already in our system. One way would be through an integration with a CRM tool that you use, such as Redtail or SmartOffice. This will be covered in a later user guide. In this guide we will show you how to enter a new client into Docupace manually.

Click on the "Retrieve" Tab and you will see the option "New Client Folder" click on that button to start the process.
You can also click the "New" Tab and choose "Client Folder" and you will be able to add your client there.
 



You will be entered into an area where you can add many pieces of information about the Client. You will see on the left hand side of your screen there are options for you to click on to give more detail on things like Rep (**required entry) and Spouse.

  • Please note, you must assign a Rep Code for this client. This ties the client to the correct Rep(s) going forward throughout the the Workflow process. 


Now that you have entered the applicable information. You can click on Retrieve and see that the Client has been added successfully. Perform a search as you normally would by entering the Client's SSN, Last Name, etc.
 
Your search results should show the client that you added. You are now able to add new accounts, upload documents, or any function needed within Docupace for your Client.
