Introduction: The .ADV file extension provides the following mechanisms:

  • Adding or removing Get From Pool Assignment Rules to users in the system.Adding or removing the rules to /from the users in the system.

  • Consistency and ease of user and rule management.

Important features of the ADV file

Note

Warning: To perform the ADV file load, you should have the following:

  • A rule existing in the Get From Pool Assignments domain.

  • A row added to the file for each rule with help of which you can add or remove a user.

  • Each row containing the relevant columns or fieldsEach column populated in the file.

*Processing Type

Indicates whether the rule should be added or removed from the User Access Record.

When you enter “ADD” in the Process Type column, the system will add the rule to the User Access record.

When you enter “REMOVE” in the Process Type column, the system will remove the rule from the User Access record.
