we're going to learn how to create a trash trash client so you may move documents that no longer need to be in the system to this client.
So how can you manage documents that should no longer be in a Client Folder or accidentally placed in a Client Folder by mistake? The simple answer is to remove the document from the current client and associate it to a trash trash client. To create a trash trash client,

And then, create a brand new client using

.

Click the New Client Folder button.

Add one or more Rep Codes.

First, add a Rep Code either by selecting all of your applicable Rep Codes or just choosing the one Rep Code you need to establish for this trash trash client.

Then add in the first name of trash, the last name of trash, and a fictitious social security number such as zeros.

Not required, but optional, you may change the Client Status from active to inactive.

Locate the Save button in the top far right hand corner to save your trash trash client.

Now that your trash trash client is created, Let's click into the trash trash client.
Your client has a subfolder that was created as a general subfolder. Let's change this subfolder by hovering over the subfolder, going into the details and changing the subfolder type from general to trash. Then click Save and Close to save your trash trash client with a trash subfolder.
This way you can move any document that cannot be deleted to this trash trash client's subfolder of trash. For more information on how to move documents from one subfolder to another subfolder. Tip

Tip: Some clients select a “Trash” Rep. Other clients prefer to add all reps to the trash subfolder.

Fill in required fields:

  • Set the first name to trash

  • Set the last name to trash

  • Set the ssn to 000000000

Tip: You can set the ssn to anything you like, but make sure it is clearly made up.

Optional: Set the Client Status dropdown to Inactive.
