Widget Details window for a new widget
The Widget details window has three panels:
Panel | Description |
---|---|
Details | General widget properties, such as Name, Description, Status, etc. |
Preferred Size | This attribute currently is not used. |
Widget Configuration | Panel that shows a fully functional preview of the widget, if available. You may test how the widget works in this panel. Click on the Widget configuration cogwheel icon to open the Docupace Start window. |

Widget Details window for a new widget
There are the following action buttons in toolbar at the top of the screen:
Button | Description |
---|---|
Previous | Open the previous widget in the Widgets list. |
Next | Open the next widget in the Widgets list. |
Save | Save all changes made to the widget. |
Save and Close | Save all changes made to the widget and return to the previous screen. |
Cancel | Return to the previous screen without saving any changes made to the widget. There is no confirmation message. All unsaved changes will be lost. |

Panel
The Details panel for a widget has the following fields:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | Users will not see this name; it is for internal reference only. Name it in a way that can be recognized by your co-workers for its function. |
Version | Identifies how many versions of this widget have been created. |
Description | A more in-detail description of the widget, used for internal reference. |
Status | This field defines whether the widget is finalized for use in client environments. The status does not affect functionality of the widget, but may be used to filter and recognize incomplete widgets. Options: Approved, Not Approved |
Widget Title | This is the name that is displayed to the user. Call the widget based on the function that it will fulfill to the end-user on the client-side. For example, New Client Account Opening. |
Widget Type | This attribute currently is not used. |
Widget Details panel
