Understanding Workflow Queues

The Dashboard is the landing page for all the users who log into the Docupace system. From the Dashboard, you can navigate to the work items in the system by accessing different queues that house them. The queues you can choose from are listed on the left side of your screen. This guide provides in formation about all the common queues you will come across on your dashboard as a rep.

If you do not see a queue that is listed in this guide, it could be due to one of the following reasons: 

  1. There are no items currently in the queue
  2. The user role you are assigned to does not have access rights to the queue.

Pending Advisor Review

Once you create a work item in Starting Point, you can access it from the Pending Advisor Review queue. Work items in this queue require signatures to move to the next stage. You can either initiate the e-sign process or pend the item until you are able to gather the wet signatures.

Use the Actions button to initiate the eSign process. Click the Pend for e-Signature button to move the item into the Pending Client Signature queue.

Pending Client Signature

This queue includes all work items for which you have chosen to Pend for e-Signature from the Pending Advisor Review queue. The system allows you to hold the item in this queue while you gather the e- signatures. Once you scan the signed documents back into Docupace, the work item is routed to the appropriate department for review.

Use the Actions button to gather signatures. Click the Send for Review button to route the item to the appropriate department for review.

Client Signature Pending eSign

Click on images to expand them.

This queue includes all work items that have been submitted to DocuSign for the client(s) and rep to eSign. Once the rep signs the forms, the work items move onto the appropriate department for review.

This queue includes all work items that have been sent back to you from various departments in order to make changes within the forms of the work item. After making the required corrections, you can re-submit the corrected forms to the appropriate departments.
