You may need to synchronize client information between the two systems because, for existing clients, there are three possible scenariosreasons:
The client has a Client Folder in Docupace, and the same client exists in Envestnet.
The client has a Client Folder in Docupace, but not in Envestnet.
The client exists in Envestnet, but not in Docupace.

Click Retrieve > Client in Docupace.
Search for the client and click on the Client entry.
Click Open Client in Envestnet. If the system does not find a matching client in Envestnet, it will start a wizard to create a new Envestnet client.
Conditional: If you have access to more than one Envestnet Advisor, then the system will display the Select Advisor screen. Select the Advisor from the list.
Enter the Family Name (Household) for a new client and click Continue.

If you have a Client profile created in Envestnet , but not in Docupace, the system will ask you to create a Client Folder when you send proposal documents to Docupace.

In Envestnet, create a new proposal for a Client. Click Get Started in the Implement the Proposal through Docupace AO card.
Click Continue in the confirmation dialog.
The system attempts to find an existing Client Folder in the Docupace system. If not found, the Client's name is shown in red color. Click on the Owner’s Name. Note: If a similar Client Folder is in the Docupace system, it will be listed in this window in yellow color. Select the Owner Name if it matches the Client in Envestnet.
Click New Client to create a Client Folder in Docupace.
Fill out any missing client details and click Save in the top toolbar.
The created Client Account is now listed in green color. Click Complete.
The Docupace system proceeds to create a Work Item with all related Documents.
The Work Item opens, and you can see the Client Folder is listed in the Work Items panel. Proceed with the next workflow steps to open the client's account for the Client. |
