The Merger Tool tab provides access to the merging functionality. It offers essential merging functionalities, which can be used utilized in the following casesscenarios:

  • If When two Accounts are found in the system , they are essentially the same (duplicated), only with are identified as duplicates, differing only by one or more different parameters.

  • If for some reason it is When it becomes necessary to merge two or more Accounts

To facilitate these actions, the Merger Tool contains three tabs.

  • Duplicate Merger

  • Account Merger

  • Account Merger by Reporting Company

Duplicate Merger

There can be duplicates in the system. Duplicates can be different. For example, two people might have the same account name and type but still be valid entries because they have different details. Common cases include a father and son or different people with the same name, like The Duplicate Merger conveniently displays all identified duplicate sets on the left side of the screen. It’s important to note that some of these apparent duplicates may simply be individuals with the same or similar names. For example, take John Smith (1955-2003) and John Smith (1958-2020). The Duplicate Merger is a tool that manages these duplicates. You may want to see how many duplicate counts are in the system. The Merger will display all the duplicate accounts on the left-hand side.Merge feature allows you to compare these potential duplicates and make informed decisions about which ones to merge.

Tell the system how to search:

If you check

Select your search parameters:

  • By checking the Ignore Account Type (1) box, the system will look for duplicates but not have to match the account type in some titles.If there are accounts created in the system that have not been funded yet, and you want to include them, check theconsider potential duplicates across various account types.

  • By selecting the Include Shell Accounts (2) box, the system will also include potential duplicate accounts that have been created but are not yet funded.

[Optional] Select (highlight) the account If you wish to select an account, click on the corresponding row (2), and then click the DETAIL (3). The system displays will display the details of this account. Open another account. Now you can compare the details of each account.the selected account, enabling you to compare the results and decide whether to merge them.

To merge these two accounts, click begin by selecting the check box (1) of whichever one you want next to the account you wish to keep. This account will stay in the system act as the base account . Click in the system. After making your selection, click MERGE (2). After you merge, some information not populated Once the merge process is complete, any data not included in the base account will be addedtransferred from the other account.

[Optional] Click BATCH MERGE (3) if you want If you wish to merge multiple accounts at a time using the same procedure as described above (once, click BATCH MERGE (3). Follow the same steps: select a base account, go move to the next record, and select repeat the base, etc.).selection for each base account accordingly.

Account Merger by Company

Different files may contain specific carriers, which may lead to potentially resulting in duplicate accounts. To effectively identify these duplicates, utilize use the Merger tool, which functions . This tool operates similarly to the Account Merger by , detecting duplicates based on the carrier information.
