Overview

The Team Monitor allows you to view and manage teams. To open it, click on Compensation Commissions (1) > Team Monitor (2).

Managing Teams

You can complete the following tasks within the Team Monitor.

  • Filter and Review existing teams

  • Create/Remove/Terminate teams

Note: You may remove a team only if the team has no associated transactions. Otherwise, you must enter an end date to terminate that team.
  • Add/Remove employees from teams

  • Set the team lead

  • Adjust the split rate between individuals on teams.Review existing teams

  • Assign a team rep code

  • Add teams to commission plans

Buttons

There are four buttons located at the top of the Team Monitor window.

  •  To generate a list of your existing teams, click the Filter (A) button. You may enter search terms to narrow your results.
To create a new team, click the Add Team button. The system will open a pop-up window.

Note: You can see additional information by adding the Team Member and Split % columns using the Column Selector. The system will display each team member as their own row.

  •  To view the details about a specific team, click the Details (B) button. The system opens the Team Detail window.
Tip

Tip: Alternatively, you can double-click on a team in your results list to view its details.

  •  Click the Add Team (C) button to create a new team. The system will open a blank Team Detail Window.
  •  To remove a team, click the Remove Team (D) button.

Note: You may remove a team only if the team has no associated transactions. Otherwise, you must enter an end date in the Team Details window to terminate that team.

Team Details

Here you can enter the following information:

  • Start/End Date

  • Name

  • Type

  • Description

  • Group Code (Primary and Alternate)

Note: A team must have at least one Primary Group Code. A group may have multiple rep Rep codes.

Finally, you can

search for and add employees.
  • add an employee to the team

Leader or Member in the Group Role column as well as mark them as Primary. You may also adjust the way the system splits commissions between team members

Adding a Team to a Commission Plan

In order to manage compensation for a team, you must first add that team to a commission plan.

  1. Right-click on the team in the results list.

  2. Select the Assign to Commission Plan menu item.

  1. Select a Commission Plan.

  2. Enter or select a Start Date.

  3. Optional: Enter or select an End Date.

  4. Click OK.

The system displays a confirmation message. Click OK to close this popup.

Once the system has finished processing the changes, you will receive a notification. This message explains if the system successfully assigned the teams. It will also identify how many teams it assigned.
