Types of Lookup Tables

Lookup tables configure how to load files, how to generate commissions, overrides, payouts, how to create alerts, etc. The majority of these tables can be assigned to one of the three categories:

  • data import

  • commission related

  • alert related.

They show how to insert the records into the system when leveraging these grids.

Data Import Lookup Tables

All these tables define how to import files and how to use these grids for specific tasks.

Info

Example: DST is an important carrier. It's a data source and the grids determine what to load, and how to load. Open the DSTTransaction. These grid parameters (Record Code, Share Indicator, Transaction Code) help to define the right trade operation.
