Audience: Financial Professionals who need to update client or subfolder status in Docupace

Functionality: The Status dropdown allows you to mark folders and subfolders as inactive or active.

Setting a Client as Inactive

Once a client leaves you as a client, it is important to mark the record as inactive or closed. This can be done both on the client level and the Client Subfolder.

Tip: If you're just closing an account, but maintaining the relationship with a client, you will only want to mark the subfolder as inactive.

Warning: Marking the client as inactive does not mark their accounts as inactive. You will have to individually mark each subfolder.
