Introduction: The purpose of this guide is to help you to complete the steps required to:

  • set up retention events and rules

  • apply them to designated documents

  • perform shredding of batches

The guide also defines key concepts related to EBR (Event-Based Retention).

Attention: It may be helpful to review the EBR Glossary with your compliance officer to make sure they understand the essential terms and concepts related to retention before undertaking further conversations related to configuration.
