You may need to synchronize client information between the two systems, because for existing clients there are three possible scenarios:

  1. The client has a Client Folder in Docupace, and the same client exists in Envestnet.

  2. The client has a Client Folder in Docupace, but not in Envestnet.

  3. The client exists in Envestnet, but not in Docupace.

Note: The only information from the Client Folder that is shared and synchronized between the two systems is Client’s full name. Other client-specific data, such as TIN/SSN, Address, e-mail, Phone Numbers etc. are kept separately in each system.

Client Already Exists in Docupace and in Envestnet

If there is a Client already created in Docupace, you can check their existing Envestnet proposals as follows:

If you have a Client profile created in Envestnet, but not in Docupace, the system will ask you to create a Client Folder when you send proposal documents to Docupace.
