Changing Designated Signers with Signature Override
Overview
Signature Override allows users to quickly and easily modify the people who need to sign forms. This can be particularly useful when setting up form packages for complex registration types where the signer might not be the account holder. For example, a custodial account (UTMA/UGMA) would be established in the name of a minor but the guardian/parent needs to sign the documents. The form packet is created showing the minor as the signer and needs to be changed to the guardian/parent. Users can change the signer directly on the form with this feature.
Enabling Signature Override
To enable this feature, you need to set the Boolean Value of two application preferences to Yes
. Once enabled, you will see the orange arrows and be able to access the Signature Override screen. You can disable the feature at any time, by setting the same preferences to No
.

Overriding Signature Fields
You can use the Signature Override feature while in a form on an open Work Item.
Attention: If you change the Printed Name directly in a signature field without using the Signature Override feature, the form will update all other corresponding fields to the same value, for example, the name of the Primary Owner or Primary Account Holder.
Disabling Signature Fields
You can disable signature fields on your forms if you no longer need them.
