Advisor ADV App

Change:  The Advisor ADV app allows users to upload ADV 2B forms for a specific advisor.

Benefit: Uploading ADV 2B forms is now easier and faster.

Advisor Transition Dashboards (Firm and Rep)

Change: The Firm TA Dashboard app allows a firm to view the status of Work Items related to an advisor's transition to or from the organization.

Benefit: Users can easily track the transfer progress.

The app allows users to view the number of accounts by Workflow status. Users can see results for all reps or for a specific rep.

Rep Transition Assistant Dashboard

Change: The Rep TA Dashboard app allows a financial professional to view detailed information about work items related to their transition to or from a particular firm.

Benefit: Users can easily track the transfer progress.

Users can view the current status and task of Work Items associated with their transition. Users can also open Work Items directly from the app.

Compliance TRACKR

Change:  The Compliance TRACKR app allows you to send disclosures and document the recommendations you provide to clients and prospects.

Benefit: It is much easier to provide disclosures and keep track of the recommendations you make to clients and prospects.

The Compliance TRACKR app is a dynamic wizard-based experience. You can document recommendations to new or existing clients and prospects. The on-screen options and fields change based on your selections. The app also enables you to provide any required disclosures.

Quick Start

Benefit: Quick Start streamlines many common actions in Docupace.

Work Item Status App

 Expand Webinar Video

Change: The Work Item Status app displays a list of Work Items and documents associated with a CRM contact.

Benefit: Users can quickly review all Work Items/Documents related to a selected CRM contact.

Only certain CRMs, such as Redtail and Wealthbox, can send contact information to the Work Item Status app. The Work Item Status app displays a list of Work Items filtered by Status. Selecting a Work Item displays a list of attached documents. Users can then choose to open the Work Item or one of its documents.

Note: Without selecting a contact, you will not see the app in the Quickstart menu.

Improvements

Auto-Refresh Token (NFS)

Reference #: R1_2022_KEY7

Change:  Tokens refresh automatically as long as the user is within the 90-day refresh period.

Benefit: Users no longer have to manually refresh their token every hour.

After initializing an NFS token, users will not need to refresh for 90 days manually. Instead, the system will automatically refresh the token whenever users attempt the Open Account action. If a user's token has expired, the system will display an error message.

eSubmit Advanced App

Change: The new version of the eSubmit app allows advisors to search for a client and add notes.

Benefits: Advisors can now index documents to clients, saving the Back Office time when processing. Notes provide context for the Back Office.

The app is used to easily create a new Work Item and to quickly upload filled-out forms and other scanned relevant documents (such as checks) for a new account. The documents are then indexed, organized, and processed by the back-office employees.

Navigation Breadcrumbs

Reference #: R1_2022_KEY9

Change:  Added a new application preference that shows the client or company name in the header while reviewing the Work Item Details.

Benefit: It is easier for users to identify the client or company linked to the Work Item.

The header on the Work Item's Details screen displays additional client/company information.

Redtail

Reference #: R1_2022_KEY10

Change: Users can now send a contact to Quick Start via the Send to Quick Start button.

Benefit: Docupace preselects the contact, which enables users to take specific actions relating to the contact such as view Work Item Status, create or manage accounts, and manage documents.

Note: If your site does not have Quick Start enabled, then clicking Send to Quick Start sends the contact information to Starting Point.

Change: Wealthbox can send additional information to Docupace when creating Work Items.

Benefit: It is saves users time by reducing the need to enter data multiple times.

This section shares information about changes to features used by Docupace administrators, such as domains, configuration settings, changes to integrations with other systems, or improvements to core functionality.

New Features

Qualification Type Domain

Reference #: R1_2022_DA1

Change: Added a new domain called the Qualification Type domain. It is a reference for a new attribute in the Registration Type domain.

Benefit: This feature helps the user distinguish between qualified and unqualified registration types.

The Qualification Type attribute allows users to categorize a registration type as Qualified or Non-Qualified. Users can also use this new attribute to drive behavior in Docupace:

  • Transitions

  • Validations

  • Apps

  • Etc.

Starting Point

Change: Created new application preference for Connect to turn off the removal of Owner[].Ari.Id while creating Starting Point WI.

Benefit: Site admins can now choose whether or not to include Owner[].Ari.Id while creating Starting Point WI.

Improved Features

SIGNiX

Reference #: R1_2022_INT1

Change: SIGNiX has a new authentication method that allows a signer to request an SMS verification instead of re-entering their password to complete an eSign transaction.

Benefit: The verification process is now faster and more convenient, while maintaining security.
