How to Automatically Create a Shredding Batch with Documents

Configuring a Retention Rule for Automatic Shredding
To configure a Retention Rule to automatically place documents into batches for shredding once the documents exit retention, proceed as follows:

Configuring Additional Site Settings for Automatic Shredding
Three Application Preferences control automatic shredding for your Docupace site:
Automatically generate shredding batch - controls whether batches must always be created manually
Shredding batch name format - date format for the name of the batch
Max shredding batch size - the number of documents allowed in each shredding batch
Administrators with access to the Application Preferences (242) domain can change these settings:
