Business Status App Guide

Introduction: This guide describes how to use the Business Status App to review the status of current Work Items.

The initial Business Status app.

Audience: Advisors, who use the Docupace system to process Work Items for Client Accounts.

Functionality: The Business Status App shows field users a view of all Work Items they have access to, categorized by status (NIGO, In Process, eSign, Completed). In addition, it provides a quick way to upload a new document to NIGO'd Work Items. 

The Business Status App is usually accessible on the Advisor Dashboard of your Docupace site.

The app shows a view of Work Items that you have access to in the system, categorized into tabs by statuses. Select the tab with items you wish to view.

InProcess

Items being processed at the moment.

eSign

Items currently sent for eSign.

Completed

Completed items.

Columns and Actions

The actual tabs and columns with Work Item data on your specific site can be configured by administrators. Usually the following columns are displayed:

Work Item

The Work Item number that is hyperlinked to open the Work Item.

First/Last Name or Entity/Trust Name

Name of the client (individual or entity/trust).

Registration

Registration type of the account.

Product / Custodian

Name of the product chosen and its Vendor/Custodian.

eSign Sent

Date and time when the item was sent for eSign. Empty if it is in Draft status and not sent, yet.

eSign Status

Current status of the eSign process, such as Draft, Created, Sent, Voided, Completed.

Click Previous

Shows the previous page of the items list.

Click Next

Shows the next page of the items list.

Click Work Item number

Opens the Work Item screen with attached forms.
Or opens the Work Item details screen to the relevant section (e.g. NIGO Reason Codes, or eSign Transaction data).

Click the upload icon

In the NIGO tab, opens a pop-up for uploading electronic documents.

Uploading Additional Documents

NIGO tab allows to upload documents and attach them to any Work Item in NIGO status. Click the Uploader icon next to the Work Item.

A Direct File Uploader pop-up for uploading electronic documents opens.

 

Drag and drop your files unto the pop-up window and click Start Upload.

When upload is completed, the pop-up will close. Uploaded documents will be added as new documents to the Work Item.

 

 

Deployment

Please reach out to your support contact to deploy the new interface or refer to the Developer Guides for instructions on how to add a app to an interface and a menu.
The visible tabs and criteria for each tab can be configured via web.view.spg.widget.bs.tabConfig application preference.
