Copying and Pasting Fields

Once your basic design is in place, you may need to move fields to different locations on the page, or between pages. Use the Copy-paste toolbar and its functions for this purpose.

Note. You can copy Field Groups with all their fields included.

The Copy-paste pop-up toolbar appears when you hover your mouse pointer over any field on a page. The following functions are available:

Cut – to delete the field and place it in another location
Copy – to copy the field and place its duplicate in another location
Paste before – to place a field from the clipboard before the current field
Paste after – to place a field from the clipboard after the current field
Delete – to delete the field

To remove the field from its current location and place it somewhere else, click the Scissors icon.

To copy the field to clipboard and place its duplicate somewhere else, click the first Clipboard icon.

To place the field from the clipboard onto the page, hover over an existing field and click one of two Clipboard icons - Paste before or Paste after.

If you are copying to a new page, that has no fields on it yet, on the Add a Field pane scroll to the bottom of the pane. Under Clipboard the copied field is listed. Select it, and it will be pasted with all its settings intact.

To delete an unnecessary field, click on the Trashcan icon.
